Bio

I am a performer, director, choreographer, and educator.

I moved to Washington, DC, from Florida in 1999 to pursue my degree in Music Theatre from American University. Since then, I have had my hands in every part of the local theatre. I have been seen on stage in such shows as Cabaret (Sally), A Chorus Line (Bebe), Footloose (Wendy Jo), and Nunsense (Amnesia); and had the pleasure to play Enid Hoops in the regional premiere of Legally Blonde the Musical at Toby’s Dinner Theatre in Columbia, MD. Last fall, I had the opportunity to be a singing nun in Sister Act! The Musical with Riverside Dinner Theatre.

I have also been backstage as a young company coordinator for many theatres including The Kennedy Center, Ford’s Theatre, and Signature Theatre. I love working in children’s theatre and have choreographed over 30 student productions from elementary through secondary school levels.

For over 8 years, I had the distinct pleasure of developing, directing, and putting on original musicals with ArtStream. The focus of their work is to bring creative opportunities to individuals underserved by the arts, specifically children and adults with disabilities. I have never done work more challenging or rewarding. The pride one gets from creating something original is immeasurable and I know from experience that everyone involved in the production of any show is a vital component to the success of that production.

I am now at a point in my life where I feel the need to expand my horizons and branch out. While DC has been my home base for many years, I am looking forward to traveling and experiencing new cities and cultures. Thus, I am ready, willing, and able to answer the door when opportunity knocks!!!
